Your commute
can still
go somewhere...
If you’re now working from home because of COVID-19, there’s one plus side: you’re likely saving a fair bit of money on travel. An average of £5-£7 per day, actually.

Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky enough to have WFH as an option. Thousands of independent restaurants, bars, pubs, and arts venues all over the country have been forced to close.

So, while you break out the laptop, why not donate some of your commute money to Hospitality Action and help some of the people COVID-19 has already hit the hardest?
Your WFH savings could make a real difference for those who can’t do the same
While you’ve got some extra travel change in your pocket, consider putting some of it towards those who can’t work from home. You’d be helping the millions of people who work in the hospitality industry who are struggling to make ends meet — like bartenders at the pub down the road, the owners of your favourite brunch spot, and the staff at your go-to gig venue. Plus, you’d be helping make sure life can go back to normal for everyone when all of this passes.

We’re all in this together.

Let’s make working from home work for everyone.

About
We believe charity starts at (working from) home.

Now more than ever, it’s important that those of us fortunate enough to WFH rally behind those who can’t. We’re all in the same boat, but not everyone has life jackets.

Many in our community and around the world are out of jobs, down paycheques and just struggling to make ends meet because of COVID-19.

We all know someone affected by these trying times, so let’s come together and show how social distancing can actually bring us closer together.
All donations are currently going to Hospitality Action, a charity on the front lines of helping workers in the hospitality industry who fall on hardship.

Who else could use a helping hand?

We’d love to hear about other charities we should be supporting.
Thank you!
